Here is our autumn-themed Baamboozle game created by my students. As part of our project, our students are supposed to learn around 30 autumn-related words such as autumn, rainy, foggy, raincoat, umbrella, and acorn. We do lots of activities using these words, and the Baamboozle game is one of them. My students hope that the partner students will enjoy the game as much as they do :) https://www.baamboozle.com/game/3892427

For this activity, the partner students created a common acrostic poem together. There are three verses in the poem, and the initials of the lines in each verse form the name of an autumn month (September, October, November). We created mixed-country teams for each verse, and each team wrote one verse of the poem. Here are the lines written by my students. They worked in pairs or groups for this activity.

For this activity, I divided my students into five groups, with three students in each group. It was quite challenging for them to create a slogan. First, they wrote their ideas in Turkish. Then, they used the Internet to find the words they didn’t know. Finally, each group came up with a slogan. We wrote all five slogans on the board, and they voted for their favorite one. After two rounds of voting, here are the slogans created and chosen by my students. They did their best. I am so proud :)

Here are the autumn photos from Istanbul, Türkiye. My students took these photos or appeared in them. With our project, we also aim to encourage our students to enjoy autumn and appreciate the beauty of the season. I believe this activity was very helpful in achieving that goal.
