For our autumn-themed project, our students have learned 30 autumn-related words. For our common online visual dictionary, which is the final product of our project, We divided the words among the partner schools, and our students added images for the words assigned to them. They worked in groups. Later, the partner students will say the meanings of these words in their native languages, and the audio recordings will be added to the dictionary. Here is the part created by my students using Canva.

The students of each partner school had previously created two posters. Then, the project poster was chosen by the students through an online poll. Here are my students playing online jigsaw puzzle of the project poster. As a teacher, I believe that this kind of games is very effective in motivating my students and increasing their interest in the project

For our Autumn- themed project, our students have learnt 30 Autumn-related words such as rainy, fall, cool, hat, jacket etc. They did lots of activities using these words. This activity is one of them. They created 15 wordles using these words on "Mywordle". They enjoyed the activity a lot :)

They were very excited with this task and parents were involved too. They wanted to show everything about our city, Coimbra, and they loved to watch other countries photos.

The autumn drawings were fantastic but what they liked the most was to watch the exhibition and found the drawings of other countries.

The bulletin board was a success, they all cooperate in a way or another, and all the schooll saw our bulletin and they were curious about it.

One of our firts challenges was to work with Canva... it was a forst time for most of students. The cooperation work and choosing a slogan and a logo was a lesson of democracy.

After voting for their favourite project poster, my students had to reconstruct the winner poster by playing the poster puzzle. They worked in pairs and had lots fun.

My students really enjoy working in Canva. They quickly figured out what they needed to do, whether it was creating posters, slogans, logos, or bookmarks. After creating the bookmarks, I printed and laminated them so they could keep them as souvenirs. They liked it so much that they also created, separately of course, Christmas-themed bookmarks and bookmarks for other occasions to give to their friends as gifts. We hope that these bookmarks will also help promote the joy of reading.

We learned how to make wordles, then we created lots of wordle links both for each other and our partners too. My students enjoyed the activity.

For the handicraft activity, my students chose to make candle holders using walnut shells (as walnuts are typically considered autumn fruits/nuts). We sold them afterwards at the Annual Christmas Fair organized at our school.

My students learned very quickly how to use the wordart app and they enjoyed creating word clouds using the autumn words they were supposed to learn. The app helped them learn the words visually. Of course, they loved it so much that they created a lot more than needed. At the end of the activity, we decided together which wordarts to use for the project.  And these are the three wordarts we chose to upload to the project (although my students made a lot more, obviously)

We worked in groups on this activity. I divided the days of the calendar so that each group would complete one day of each month (from the days assigned to us). Working simultaneously, my students managed to mess things up a bit, but in the end they completed their part. What I liked most was that this activity contributed to the cohesion of the class as a group, because the children constantly helped each other. No one was left out.

One of the students' favorite games is Kahoot because, in addition to being a fun way to check if they have learned the words, the students were also motivated by the idea of competing with each other to earn points. The game requires both correct answers and speed in choosing answers. We dedicated an entire hour to playing all the games we received from our partners. Simply memorizing the words and reproducing them in a test would not have had the same success rate.  And here's the game we created for our partners. We hope they'll have fun! https://create.kahoot.it/share/autumn-vocabulary/83acfabd-7f75-4cf3-b583-2c38801411b4

Here's the autumn themed baamboozle game we prepared for our partners. We hope they'll have fun playing it and we can hardly wait for their games so that we can play too. https://www.baamboozle.com/game/3888615    We also had some real fun playing the games our partners sent us.

Not having many technical solutions at hand, we proceeded as usual. The students thought of short sentences about autumn. Where necessary, I helped them rearrange the words so that the verses would begin with the given letters. The students came up with several sentences, then we voted on which ones would make it into the poem. This activity helped develop my students' vocabulary.

I've divided my students in three groups. One group was asked to make the posters for the project, the other group made the logos and the third group was in charge of the slogans. Here are the logos the second group made.

Our bulletin board is finally ready too. My students started doing it in a way, then had another idea and made it again. That is why the final result is slightly different from how they started working.

My students used avatars created on whatsapp and the chatterkid app to record their self introductions. Some of them still have a lot of work to do on pronounciation, however, I tried not to interfere too much in their work, so as not to inhibit them. They still need a lot of encouragement.

My students created autumn-themed handicraft products and exhibited them in the school corridor. We aimed to share our project with the rest of the school and raise awareness of our work.

Through the project, our students are supposed to learn thirty Autumn-related words. We have many activities regarding these words, and creating word clouds is one of them. The students of each partner school are expected to create three word clouds using these words. Here are the word clouds created by my students.

In December, the partner students are supposed to create a common Autumn calendar together. The calendar includes only the Autumn months (September, October, and November). We have three mixed-country teams, and each team is responsible for designing one month. Here are my students working on their part of the calendar. They enjoyed it a lot :)

My students created an autumn-themed Kahoot game using autumn-themed words such as rainy, autumn, raincoat, and acorn, etc. They hope that the other partner students will enjoy the game as much as they do

The students of each partner school had previously created two slogans. Then, the project slogan, ‘The Leaves Fall and We Play with You All’, was chosen by the students through an online poll. For this activity, we divided the project slogan into two parts. The letters of each part were designed by a mixed-country team. Here are the letters designed by my students. They mostly worked in pairs and adorned the letters with autumn-themed images
